We are setting aside March 12 through April 20 as a season for forty days of prayer and fasting. Our staff, elders, and church leadership are contemplating pivotal decisions that have the potential to outlive our generation. R.A. Torrey once wrote, “Pray for great things, expect great things, work for great things, but above all, pray.” We are seeking God’s will for Johnson Ferry so that we can extend His mission and better reach our neighbors and the nations with the gospel. This will require both open hands and full hearts. We do not want to do anything other than that which God has directed us through prayer. The two goals of these forty days are that we surrender entirely to God and allow Him to direct our paths.
