Adoption & Foster Care Sunday!
On Sunday, September 8, our church family will highlight the Adoption and foster Care Ministry and offer opportunities for getting involved. Johnson Ferry adoptive and foster families are invited to wear their Foster Hope Adopt t-shirts that day. Email [email protected] to learn about ways you can be a part of this special day.

Intro to Adoption & Foster Care Class
Wednesdays beginning September 11 | This class is designed to help answer questions and clarify the next steps for anyone who is considering pursuing adoption or foster care. We’ll lean into scripture and prayer as we consider tangible next steps, hear from experts in the field, and get insights from those who’ve gone before us on the journey. This class is held on Wednesday nights at 6pm in Room 333. Register HERE.

Adoption & Foster Care Support Group
This group is designed to provide a community of encouragement and support for parents, family members, and other advocates involved in adoption or foster care. Whether you’re adopting/fostering now, have done so in the past, or are in a support role for adoptive or foster families, you’re invited to join us! Meetings are on Wednesday nights at 6pm in Room 335. Register HERE.

CAFO Summit: September 18-20 in Nashville, TN
The CAFO Summit is an annual conference hosted by the Christian Alliance for Orphans geared toward encouraging and equipping churches and families engaged in fostering and adoption. Care Communities are designed to show God’s love to Johnson Ferry Families engaged in adoption and/or fostering by providing tangible support and care on a consistent basis. Each care community offers a variety of roles and opportunities. Register HERE to learn more.

Foster Child Christmas
Join us in serving Foster families in our community! Shop for gifts for a foster child in the care of the Cobb County Department of Family Services (DFCS). Shopping lists will be distributed in early/mid-November. Drop off gifts in the Magnolia Room on Monday, December 2. Sign up HERE to help!
