MOVE Missions Offering

Goal: $1,500,000

Make your six-month faith pledge in all services on Sunday, March 6 or online. In addition to giving, prayerfully consider serving in local ministries, going on a short-term trip for the first time, exploring being sent on a mid or long-term mission assignment or learning more about the adoption and foster care ministry.

Make a Pledge

Your giving above the regular tithe allows Johnson Ferry to equip the church, engage the lost and embrace the nations through Bible translation and distribution, church planting, short-term mission trips, engaging the unreached and ministry to the vulnerable. Pray about your part in the MOVE Missions Offering.

Ministry to the Vulnerable

Jesus calls us to care for the vulnerable by showing compassion and ministering to the refugee, orphan, unborn, homeless, trafficked, widow, prisoner, and disaster survivor through hands-on ministry and our partner organizations.

Engaging the Unreached

Johnson Ferry sends our members with the gospel to Unreached Peoples around the world. To that end, we invest in training, supporting, and caring for these Global Sent Ones and their families. Our goal is to send 35 members on mid and long-term assignments to the Unreached over the next five years.

Bible Translation & Distribution

Last year, in partnership with the SEED Company, Faith Comes By Hearing, and Bible Training Center for Pastors, Johnson Ferry funded a number of projects. These include completing three Bible translations in sub-Saharan Africa, producing the first ever audio NT in the Komo language, and translating teaching materials into the Kirundi language that will be used to equip pastors and church leaders throughout Central Africa. Beginning in 2022, we are partnering with Wycliffe Bible Translators to do a complete New Testament translation for an Unreached People Group.

Church Planting

Local churches are vital to advancing Christ’s kingdom. Our focus is to strengthen the church worldwide by supporting efforts in South Asia, North Africa, Cuba, Dominican Republic, locally in Atlanta, and beginning a new 10-year partnership in New York City.

Mission Trips

Johnson Ferry commits to pay 50% of the cost for members, plus all ministry expenses. Despite the pandemic, we were able to send 441 people on 18 trips both nationally and internationally. MOVE offering dollars not spent on mission trips in 2021 were directed to ministry to the vulnerable, supporting partners, church planting, and engaging the Unreached.
