Mission Trip Training Recap + What’s Next

Hey Parents,

We had an incredible mission trip training last night! Dylan kicked us off with a powerful devotion on the story of David and Goliath. He reminded us that, just like David, we aren’t strong enough on our own—but the good news is that Jesus is strong enough. We’re stepping into this mission trip knowing we can trust in His power, not ours.

After the devotion, Courtney introduced a new evangelism tool called “The Four,” which gives students a simple and clear way to share their faith. Here’s a breakdown:

  • Heart ❤️ – God Loves You.
God created you and loves you more than you can imagine. He wants a relationship with you. (John 3:16)
  • Divide ➗ – Sin Separates You.
Our sin creates a divide between us and God, and we can’t fix it on our own. (Romans 3:23)
  • Cross ✝️ – Jesus Saves You.
Jesus came to take our sins and died on the cross so we could be forgiven. He rose again and made a way for us to know God. (Romans 5:8)
  • Question Mark ❓ – Will You Trust Jesus?
God invites us to trust Jesus, accept His gift of salvation, and follow Him. (Romans 10:9)

  • Family Group Reveal on Febuary 23 – You won’t want to miss this exciting night!
  • Turn in your passport and all required forms ASAP!

Questions to Ask Your Student This Week:

  1. Can you share your testimony with me? Then, take time to share your own story with your student(s).
  2. Which part of “The Four” stands out to you the most, and how could you use it to share Jesus with someone?

Thank you for investing in your student(s) and walking with them on this journey! We’re so excited about how God is going to move through this mission trip.
