Timothy Ministry
Home School Ministry of Johnson Ferry.
Timothy Ministry is designed to develop young servants in the spirit of the Apostle Paul and the young pastor, Timothy. We offer homeschoolers and JFCA students a diverse array of academic, enrichment, and extra-curricular classes. With two sessions per academic year – Fall and Spring – spanning 14 weeks each, participants enjoy a flexible, a-la-carte approach to class selection. Classes are for grades K-12 and are held once a week on Mondays from 9am to 2:30pm.
These classes provide ample opportunity for growth and development. Rooted in Johnson Ferry Baptist Church’s mission, we are dedicated to guiding our community toward discovering Truth, Belonging, and Purpose in Jesus.

- All new families must schedule a tour of the program and meet Timothy Director, Leslie Martinez. Tours are held on Mondays only during Timothy Ministry hours (to schedule a tour, please email [email protected]).
- All homeschooled students must wear a Timothy Ministry t-shirt. JFCA students will wear their uniform shirts.
- Once registered, all parents/students must sign & turn in the “Timothy Ministry Release Form“. You mail email or turn it in to the Timothy Ministry Director.
JFBC Homeschool Support Group

The JFBC Homeschool Support Group, an extension of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church’s Children’s Ministry in Marietta, GA, warmly welcomes homeschooling & hybrid education families. Our primary aim is to provide mutual support through prayer, fellowship & organized events. Additionally, we offer field trips, high school dances, retreats, etc. at a minimal cost. The annual membership fee unlocks exclusive benefits such as access to our private Facebook group, participation in field days, access to our member directory, participation in Geography/Science fairs, festive holiday gatherings, and amazing Mom’s Nights!
We also host an annual book sale in June that is well-known throughout the community! (Volunteers will be available to shop at the pre-sale)
